• Drove profitability and registration-rate KPIs on a high-traffic consumer video platform (~5M daily visitors) by redesigning SSR and caching, separating user-specific state from first render to enable aggressive edge caching and reduce infra cost.
• Set rendering and personalization constraints with product and design, trading UX flexibility for cache efficiency and reshaping feature planning to align with business margins.
• Made a stateless, edge-validated authentication redesign to remove regional bottlenecks, directly supporting registration → buyer conversion by reducing latency in authenticated flows, while executing a zero-disruption migration and preserving security and compliance.

XUND (Staff Engineer)

• Decoupled medical questions and translations into versioned, file-based assets across three products, unblocking independent releases; optimized the monorepo CI/CD with incremental builds and caching, cutting build times by ~80%.
• Took over a delayed, unstable project and assumed technical leadership, stabilized delivery by increasing test coverage and introducing TDD across teams, realigned stakeholders on a viable MVP by cutting scope while preserving medical device viability, and shipped the first stable release to the first customer.

• Led a team of five to extract account creation, lifecycle, and deletion from a legacy monolith into independent services, migrating data via ETL pipelines and propagating changes through event streams.
• Owned the technical direction of a shared design system used by 10+ teams, evolving it toward a11y-compliant components while preserving backward compatibility and guiding teams through incremental migration.
• Drove the architectural decomposition of monolithic personalization into a dedicated service processing ~50M messages daily, orchestrating data retrieval and template rendering via event-driven workflows, building on earlier high-volume delivery systems (~10M/day) while preserving scalability, fault tolerance, and delivery stability.
